are designed for use in metrology,
inspection and other high accuracy applications. Retrofitting
a 3-coordinate CMM with a rotary table converts it into a 4-coordinate
CMM - capable of inspecting gears, rotors, cams, camshafts,
threads and other contoured workpieces. Rotary table faceplate
diameters can be as small as 2-1/2" and as large as 102" with
vertical or horizontal orientation. Tilting faceplates are also
available. ULTRARON® tables can be interfaced with your
machine controls or A. G. Davis/AA Gage can provide stand-alone
or rack-mounted controllers.

consist of hardened
and stabilized stainless steel face plate, axle and bearing assemblies,
and high grade meehanite castings for base assemblies. Air bearing
tables employ a fully trapped gas bearing for both radial and thrust
planes. The gas bearing jets are manufactured of precision machined
gem stones. Standard faceplate diameters range in size from 6" to
48". Specials may be ordered in diameters up to 84".

consist of hardened
steel faceplate and bearing face assemblies and high-grade meehanite
castings for base assemblies. Tables feature special hardened steel
balls, matched to extremely close tolerances, with integral ground
races. Ball bearing tables have concentricity accuracy of 30 millionths
T.I.R. and a wobble or rotating parallelism that is held within 100
millionths on sizes up to 24" faceplate diameter and 200 millionths
on tables up to 42" faceplate diameter.
