Pentium II based computer system in a 19" rack unit enclosure
with a sealed keyboard or an optional keyboard drawer for
easy operator interface. The system will also contain all
servo amps and power supplies. The table can be manually controlled
by an operator or automatically via an IEEE interface card
in the computer.
The software was developed in the Windows 95/98 format so
the operator interfaces with logically grouped windows as
is standard in most modern controls. The operator has manual
control of the system as well as fully automatic positioning.
Two modes are available: Position and Rate. The position mode
allows the table to rotate to a preprogrammed position. The
rate mode allows the table to rotate at a preprogrammed rate
with feed back from an encoder or customer U.U.T.
The table can be moved in rate or
position mode from a host computer communicating with the
controller. Most of the system setup parameters and status
(Rate/acceleration position, etc.) can be accessed as well.
Comprehensive remote error reporting allows the host computer
to automatically recover from most error conditions. Other
features that the IEEE interface provides are as follows:
